Show the student(s) flash cards for \u2018un \u00e2ne,\u00a0un \u00e2non, les\u00a0\u00e2nes,\u00a0le cheval, le cavalier, le champ\u2019\u00a0and listen to the corresponding audio for each.\u00a0\u00a0Listen to each word three times.\u00a0 Have the students repeat each word after listening to it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Show the student(s) gestures for \u2018monte,\u00a0reposent,\u2019 while listening to the corresponding audio.\u00a0 It’s important\u00a0that the student(s) copy these gestures as they listen to the words.\u00a0 Listen to each\u00a0word\u00a0<\/i>three times.\u00a0Have the students repeat each word after listening to it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Show the student(s) each flash card and listen to the audio files for the corresponding\u00a0phrases<\/i>, three times each.\u00a0\u00a0Have them act out the phrase\u00a0and speak\u00a0along with the audio\u00a0as they are able.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If time allows, end your lesson by checking for understanding. Place the flashcards on the table.\u00a0 In random order, play\u00a0each\u00a0audio and see if you and your child can match it with the appropriate gesture\u00a0and\u00a0flashcard.\u00a0\u00a0If they can speak it, great, but do not expect it right at first.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You might also use the questions to prompt your students to use the sentences.\u00a0 If not right at first, certainly these could be used in the next vocabulary lesson.\u00a0\u00a0Make\u00a0this fun!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
